Not Your Typical Summer Camp in Montreal
City Scouts is a summer camp in Montreal for kids who don’t always love traditional camp.
Each day, campers explore two new Montreal neighbourhoods in small groups of 5 to 6, creating a more personalized experience tailored to each group’s interests.
Along the way, they discover hidden gems, must-sees, new foods, and unique shops while learning how to use Montreal’s STM transit system with confidence.
It’s a real-time city competition where campers complete challenges, collect points, and build independence, curiosity, and connection.
Our bilingual team welcomes French and English speakers, with spots still available for summer 2026.
How It Works
Discover a new neighbourhood every day.
Even in the midst of the fun our week long competition brings, there'll still be lots of time to stop and check out the unique shops, parks, and spaces that each hood offers.
Navigate the city
by STM.
Your team is responsible for figuring out the most efficient and fun route to get between neighbourhoods. This is your chance to learn how the STM works!
Taste unique
local foods.
At City Scouts, campers try unique foods every day, from Lebanese manakish, dumplings, cannolis, and more. We also do our best to find options for campers with allergies whenever possible.
Collect points and emerge victorious!
Submissions come in throughout the day, so campers can see what other teams are up to and follow the live leaderboard in real time.

Après près d’une décennie à Toronto, Les Scouts Urbains arrivent au Québec! Les Scouts Urbains arrivent à Montréal cet été, et seront en collaboration avec MEM - centre des mémoires montréalaises!
Bien que notre organisation ne soit pas originaire de Montréal, notre équipe est composée de passionnés étudiants, engagés envers l’urbanisme et l’autonomie des enfants.
Le camp sera structuré de la même manière que notre programme à Toronto, avec la ville divisée en quartiers que les campeurs devront explorer et parcourir chaque jour.
En chemin, les campeurs accumuleront des points en relevant des défis, en échangeant avec les Montréalais et en découvrant de nouveaux aliments!
Notre programme se déroulera principalement en anglais, mais tous nos animateurs sont bilingues, donc les francophones comme les anglophones sont les bienvenus !

Level Up the Camp Experience!
As a parent, you are well aware that the day may come (or perhaps it already has) that your kid will ask to go out on their own and discover their city without you. City Scouts’ hope is that through exposing our campers to navigating city life they will feel safe and comfortable when they’re traveling without parents and have some fun ideas on places they want to explore.
